Free Guy is a CGI-heavy movie about a non-playing character in a video game (Reynolds) who develops self-awareness largely depends on how much one likes the lead actor. Reynolds plays the title character who falls in love with the game’s developer’s avatar (Comer) and helps her retrieve a stolen source code hidden within the platform called Free City.
